About Nostrbama

Nostrbama was conceived during another Nostr conference, Nostrville 2.0. Hosted at Bitcoin Park in Nashville, TN, Nostrville 2.0 was the chance for many Nostriches to meet for the first time. While we were used to talking over notes and voice chat rooms, nothing beats a face-to-face experience.

The energy and connection were tangible. As Bitcoiners and Nostr plebs, we already knew we were part of something special, a revolutionary movement. When we finally got the chance to meet together in one location, it became clear that we have real power. The atmosphere was thick with energy, yet light with love at the same time. It was at Nostrville 2.0 that some of us decided we needed to meet again, as soon as possible. Instead of waiting on Nostrville 3.0, we decided to take over the Gulf Coast.

We hope to make Nostrbama an event that reminds us why we prefer freedom tech to closed source corporate controlled algorithms, and central bank money. We are here for the human connections. We are here for the human experience.
